| This study focuses on Afghanistan, where there has been an increase in security incidents against NGOs. Despite its negative image, intelligence may provide a means for NGO managers to avoid or reduce the number of security incidents encountered while operating in dangerous locations. The prevention or aversion of security incidents may allow NGOs to continue their valuable work without the tragic loss of life that has become commonplace in Afghanistan. |
