In these times of extreme economic competition, many organizations use a Total Quality Management (TQM) approach to achieve many small victories that build into a large victory. TQM is a philosophy and set of principles aimed at transforming an organization into one capable of achieving victories. TQM provides any organization the application of quality principles for meeting the many challenges of today while ultimately moving the organization toward the future.;Numerous organizations have adhered to the approach of total quality, and nearly every arena of product development, operations, manufacturing, customer service, administration, along with distribution networks have been impacted by quality improvement. However, marketing is often neglected and robbed of its importance, except when serving as a determinant for customer requirements. This paper proposes the need for a master plan that covers the integration of total quality into marketing functions in order to achieve important benefits.
