This applied research project examines the potential for entry and sustainment in the northeastern Minnesota holiday and recreation market through a business concept titled, "Red Barn Farm." This assessment consists of analytical techniques and concepts researched from sources of academic study that includes organizational behavior and development theory, marketing, finance and accounting, lessons in multi-culturalism, human social sciences, strategy analysis, and target market research. The following examination is organized into seven primary sections that evaluate the question if Red Barn Farm's proposed business model can create and sustain a competitive advantage through the development of unique holiday relaxation and activity based experiences not currently offered in the northern Minnesota hospitality market.
