This study asked, How can WorkSafeBC develop a framework that will support the development of a mentoring program that will enhance leadership growth in managers who are in a mentee role? The opportunity for this study is significant, as it will assist the management team to promote and foster leadership growth.;An exploration of the organizational background provided context for this research, supplemented by a literature review of the study's core concepts: leadership development, mentoring, enhancing leadership growth, and organizational culture. Research activities included literature reviews, focus groups, and interviews. Seventeen persons participated in the research, and a further seven senior managers participated in the research team. As a result of this study, the Worker and Employer Services (WES) Division will have a framework that will be used to support the development of a mentoring program. |
