The purpose of this research is to determine the degree of job satisfaction experienced by employees of enterprises working in the Tren Urbano project in Puerto Rico. A 5-point Likert scale questionnaire was developed to ask them how they agreed with a list of asseverations pertaining to job satisfaction. Descriptive statistics were computed, and it was found that employees are neither satisfied of dissatisfied with their work situation.; Several demographic variables were analyzed in relation to job satisfaction: gender, age, education, job level and employer. A two-sample t test and one-way ANOVA test were applied to determine differences in job satisfaction between demographic variables; no significant differences were found between the job satisfaction and the demographic variables. |
