Higher education in China has carried the important mission oftraining the professional talent,developing science andtechnology,promoting the modernization and the smoothdevelopment.Compensation, as a kind of working value, reflectsdirectly on the the whole stable development of teachers andteaching quality stability. The survey research on the universityteachers’ salary satisfaction is related to the design of managementcompensation and salary system reform, related to the allocation ofteachers and the development of scientific research. Therefore, inorder to design a reasonable salary system, optimize salarymanagement, perfect salary system, and make full use of theincentive effects, it is necessary to in-depth study the universityteachers’ salary satisfaction, and analysis on the relationship betweenteachers’ statistical variables and pay satisfaction.The research based on the domestic and foreign achievementsof the university teachers’ salary satisfaction, teachers in Guangxiwho from colleges and universities as the research objects,by usingthe empirical way to analysis on the characteristics of universityteachers’ salary satisfaction and the key influence factors.The paperaims to put forward a conceptual model and research hypothesiswhich influence the demographic variables on university teachers’salary satisfaction. The study adopts questionnaire survey method tocollect data which from main universities that located in Nanning,Guangxi. In addition, it examines the research hypothesis by usingSPSS21.0also Independent-Samples T Test,single factor analysis of variance, and correlation analysis methods were used to analysis.Finally, it comes to the conclusion.The conclusion can be made asfollows:first of all, the college teachers’ salary satisfaction inGuangxi is low and nearly half of them are not satisfy with theirsalary.The main influencing factors contain the guarantee ofsatisfaction, motivation factor, value factor, competition factorand recognition factor.Second, it can be easily found from theanalysis that gender,age,seniority,degree,education category andacademic titles are the six influencing factors.The older they are, thelonger teaching experience they accumulate,the higher educationthey gain,the more host university they are in and the higheracademics they obtain,their salary satisfaction will be higher thanbefore.In summary, the salary satisfaction from the older andexperienced teachers is higher than young ones. The people whoattain higher education degree and work at higher academicinstitutions have got higher salary satisfaction. The higher level ofcolleges and academic titles guarantee a better salarysatisfaction.Third, the low salary satisfaction from the teachers’willaffect directly their work enthusiasm. Differences between youngand older are apparent and the low salary satisfaction from the younghave been influenced on their work enthusiasm and initiative.Combining with the actual situation of Guangxi universityteachers’ salary satisfaction,the study draws five conclusions: Togreatly improve the level of the universities that from Guangxiprovince; Pay more attention to the inherent incentivecompensation and strengthen the spiritual construction; Bringingmarket mechanism into the university, improving the externalcompetitive salary;④Emphasis on the fairness and establish acorrect concept of salary pay;⑤C ombining with Guangxi’s actualreality,establishing a scientific evaluation system.
