Returning to an on original source: The surrealist recovery of classical Greek poetics by modern Greek poets (Odysseas Elytis, Andreas Embiricos)

A study in two parts: the first concentrates on investigating the influence of Ancient Greek poetics on Modern Greek poets during the “Generation of the Thirties”—the years 1929–1939—and focuses specifically on the involvement of the poets Odysseas Elytis (1911–1996) and Andréas Embiricos (1901–1975) in the surrealist movement; the second is a series of poems that draw on Greek surrealism, including seven translations from the Greek of Embiricos.
