Abstract/Summary:
This thesis deals with understanding the particular nature of spiritual issues among the Korean-Chinese people living in Manchuria, the northern part of China. Through the study of the Korean-Chinese' historical, socio-religious and cultural background, spiritual strongholds are identified to develop a warfare strategy to overcome the principalities and powers in the region.; Spiritual strongholds identified in this thesis are not necessarily demonic in nature, but they may serve as agents, from which demons can influence and operate to deceive, kill and destroy. The thesis includes a paradigm shift towards a warfare worldview and importance of the believers' authority. Most of the missionaries involved in Manchuria lack experience in exercising such authority with a warfare worldview. Strategic intercession will lead to repentance and reconciliation within the people of the region, and their intercessory prayer will break the strongholds in the region.
