Abstract/Summary:
This study was designed to compare the difference in percentages of emotionally disturbed children and nonemotionally disturbed children living with single fathers, single mothers, or both parents. A survey was distributed to a representative number of both special education and regular education teachers. The questionnaires elicited fill-in-the-blank responses designed to determine the living situations of the students. A chi square was used to identify the differences in the percentages of the data.
