Towards Novel Energy Solutions - an Electronic/Atomistic Simulation Approach

This thesis focuses on computer modeling and multi-scale simulations of new materials that can potentially be used in novel energy applications, i.e., the dye molecules in dye-sensitizedsolar- cells and polymers for the capacitive energy storage.
