| "Luminous Journeys through the Abstract" successfully opened at the Kirkland Art Center, April 3, 2014, and will remain on view through May 31, 2014. A well-attended opening reception for the artists and guests was held on April 6, 2014. Eight abstract artists are represented with 5 to 10 artworks each. Each artist display is accompanied by an artist's statement briefly describing their philosophy. An exhibit catalog designed and created by the curator Linda Bigness was on display for viewing along with video interviews of the artists and their studios. Invitations to the exhibit were designed by the curator and gallery and sent out to the Kirkland Art Center's mailing list as well as the curator's mailing list.
