| This capstone project will identify and evaluate methods that terrorist organizations use to structure their organization. The effect of advancing technology strengthens these organizations, which consistently outdates defense methods that law enforcement administers. This research begins with identifying methods that terrorists use to recruit, finance, and execute cyber attacks. Identifying current methods used by terrorists to maintain their organization can assist with improving defense methods. There is a need to continue to explore the potential possibilities of how terrorists can manipulate advanced technological tools to execute criminal acts. This research also explains that the lack of outdated counter measures may become the leading concern when these counter measures do not protect against new technology that terrorist can potentially adapt to. This research concluded with how effective defense methods as well as awareness can assist with the war against terrorism. This research also offers recommendations as to how defense methods can improve to better the defenses against cyber attacks. |
