With the continuous development of sonar technology at home and abroad,all countries need to improve their ability to explore the seabed landforms constantly.In underwater research,multi-beam sounding system acts an indispensable role.This essay takes the mid-water multi-beam echo sounder as the background of the project.Research and design the sonar receiver and data acquisition system in this project.Hence,the main research of this essay largely comprises the following sections:First of all,the development trend of mid-water multi-beam echo sounder in China and overseas is analyzed in this paper.Based on the project design requirements of mid-water multi-beam echo sounder,the design overall scheme of the sonar receiver and data acquisition system is determined.This paper introduces the working principle of multi-beam sounding system and analyzes the structure of sonar receiver and data acquisition system.Secondly,based on the mid-water multi-beam echo sounder scheme and the active sonar equation,the parameters such as fixed gain and controllable gain required by the receiving system are derived,,design and implementation of every module involved in it are achieved,including signal conditioning module,A/D conversion module,gain control module.At the same time,the power module of sonar receiving system is designed.After completing the schematic design of the multi-channel analog receiver circuit,sonar receiving system PCB is drawn.Then,integrated with technical requirements of data acquisition system to select digital chip and then designs every hardware module,including power module and interface management module.After completing the schematic design of the data acquisition system,the PCB is drawn.After that,design the data transmission process of the control FPGA and built QSYS system to complete the design of data acquisition and transmission function.Finally,the physical circuit of the sonar receiver and data acquisition system is tested and debugged.The tested module includes the consistency debugging of the analog channels,the gain test of the analog channel,the zero input noise test,and the static power consumption test.The test results show that the designed multi-channel sonar analog receiving circuit meets the design requirements.The logical signals of the acquisition system are captured by Signal Tap?,and it is observed that the data acquisition system can collect and transmit data normally.The correctness of logic in the data acquisition system is verified.The sonar receiver and data acquisition system can work normally and stably.
