Bird Diversity And Bird Strike Risk Assessment Of Bayannaoer Civil Aviation Airport

From July 2019 to June 2020,birds within 8km of Bayannaoer civil aviation airport were systematically investigated.A total of 33895 birds belonging to 90 species,34 families and 16 orders were recorded.Among them,there are 19 resident birds,51 summer migrants,12 travelers and 8 winter migrants.Two species of amphibians,two families,two orders,three families,four species of reptiles and 19 species of mammals were recorded.According to the analysis of bird community structure,the bird diversity index(2.3197)and evenness index(0.7038)in summer are the highest,and the dominance index(0.9851)and average density(14.0717)in winter are the highest.The bird diversity index(2.0311)and evenness index(0.6310)were the highest in summer,and the dominance index(0.5517)was the highest in autumn.The average density in winter(67.6096)was the highest.The bird diversity index(2.1947)is the highest in autumn,and the evenness index(0.6181)is the highest in summer.The dominance index(0.4536)was the highest in winter.The average density in autumn(37.8251)was the highest.According to the analysis of risk value(R)of birds,17 species of seriously dangerous birds,25 species of very dangerous birds,21 species of more dangerous birds and 27 species of general dangerous birds were recorded.Compared with the results of 2012-2013 bird survey,the number of bird species recorded in this survey is 29 more than that in the first survey,and the number is 8 times more than that in the first survey,so the average density of this survey is much higher than that in the first survey.After using the same calculation method as the first time,it is concluded that the serious risk birds of this time is 2.5 times of the first time.The key areas bird strike prevention suggestion: the height of lawn grass in airport should be kept between 18-30cm;The cattle farm of Inner Mongolia Mongolian grass agriculture and animal husbandry development Co.,Ltd.outside the airport and Hongtai mutton sheep breeding Park in bayannaur City,birds such as sparrow,grey dove,magpie and tens of thousands of crows gather in and around the park for food,which may pose safety risks for the takeoff and landing of the aircraft.It is suggested that the airport and local leaders negotiate to move the two farms out of the airport 10 km away as soon as possible;There is a large reed marsh wetland outside the northwest boundary of the airport,inhabiting water birds such as spotted mouth duck,red arm duck,black winged snipe,etc.,which often fly into the airport and cross the runway,which brings great hidden danger to the airport safety.It is suggested to fill the wetland;It is suggested to dismantle the artificial bird nest within 8km of the airport.
