| Genrich S.Altshuller,the great inventor of the former Soviet Union,is worldrenowned for his TRIZ theory.In recent years,as TRIZ theory has been extensively applied to guiding innovation and practice in both technical and non-technical fields,the philosophy of invention contained in Altshuller’s thought has gradually attracted attention.Although the thought of Altshuller’s philosophy of invention is occasionally mentioned by domestic and overseas scholars,it has not yet been systematically and deeply studied.This paper attempts to analyze and summarize the thought of Altshuller’s philosophy of invention.The thought of Altshuller’s philosophy of invention is influenced by both the theoretical background and the practical background at that time.Under the guidance of Marxist philosophy and Creative thought,Altshuller devotes himself to the theory of invention.Altshuller keeps trying to invent,and summes up the previous experience of invention and innovation.He recognizes that most inventors invent through multiple trial and error,but this method of invention is inefficient.In order to solve the problem of the inefficiency of invention,Altshuller takes a path to explore the philosophy of invention.Altshuller recognizes the invention from two perspectives:the law of technical systems evolution and the invention creativity.The law of technical systems evolution is the first issue of invention.Altshuller believes that the essence of invention is to constantly solve the technical contradiction in technical system.The invention continues to advance,and the technical system evolves.The development of the technical system is not random,but there are rules to follow.The invention creativity is the second issue of invention.In his later years,Altshuller recognizes that the invention creativity of inventors also play a role in invention.To some extent,the first issue of invention and the second issue of invention are identical in many aspects.Their identity is mainly contained in the relationship between the object of the invention and the subject of the invention,the systematicness and the creativity,and the theory of invention and engineering practice.The thought of Altshuller’s methodology of invention is mainly embodied in the algorithm of invention and innovation.Invention is a dynamic procedural process.Altshuller emphasizes that the algorithm of invention and innovation consists of many dynamic steps,and invention can be realized through the analysis phase,implementation phase and synthesis phase of the algorithm of invention and innovation.The algorithm of invention and innovation has controllability,accuracy and predictability.From the perspective of the development of the philosophy of invention,the thought of Altshuller’s philosophy of invention is different from the two traditional paths of the method-centered theory of invention and the subject-centered theory of invention in the history of the philosophy of invention.Altshuller pioneers a‘middle way’,which combines the subject of invention and the method of invention.The contribution of the thought of Altshuller’s the philosophy of invention lies in the creation of the‘third path’,the realization of the great integration of the logic of invention and the logic of thinking,and the development of the great era of the knowledge-assisted invention.Nevertheless,the thought of Altshuller’s philosophy of invention also has some theoretical limitations.The thought of Altshuller’s philosophy of invention focuses less on original invention,but much on the algorithm programming.These provide us some new inspirations to dialectically understand the thought of Altshuller. |
