With advantages of wide adaptability,high output,reliable operation and easy maintenance,steel ball coal mill has been widely applied in coal-fired power generation,cement industry and milling industry,etc.However,it is subjected to disadvantages such as high power consumption,large noise,as well as wideness,nonliearilty and large lag of noise band,conventional technologies cannot realize optimal effect of energy conservation and noise reduction.On this basis,it is necessary to develop a reasonable scheme for energy conservation and noise reduction of steel ball coal mill.This paper takes the MTZ3258 coal mill of No.2 boiler of the thermoelectric second workshop of Jinchuan Thermal Power Plant as the research object.The material level,temperature and negative pressure inside the ball mill were monitored by designing the material level detection and monitoring system,and then the operating parameters of the original ball mill have been optimized,the aim was to make the ball mill operate under the optimum conditions and save energy and reduce consumption.To achieve the purpose of reducing the noise,the automatic adding and removing system of the invalid steel ball was designed,the measures of reducing the vibration with the sound insulation with the acoustic enclosure cover was used.COMSOL software was used to fit the sound field of the acoustic enclosure to verify the noise reduction effect.The reforming scheme was applied to the MTZ3258 ball mill in the second workshop of Jinchuan thermoelectric power plant.By comparing the data before and after the energy saving and noise reduction,it was found that the noise intensity of the coal mill was reduced by 28.00 d B on average,and the unit energy consumption of pulverized coal was reduced by12.46%.It was proved that the scheme could achieve the purpose of energy saving and reduce consumption noise reduction.This study provided a theoretical and practical basis for energy saving,reduce consumption and noise reduction of ball mill.
