In view of the fact that each processing unit is independent,the loading and unloading of each processing unit,the transfer of forgings between units,the online detection of forging size rely on manual work,as well as the blocking of cooling and lubricating pipes of dies,the short service life of dies and so on,based on the in-depth study of the bullet structure and forging forming process,modern computer measurement and control technology and manipulator technology are applied to add Automatic upgrading of work unit,adding loading and unloading manipulator,forging transfer manipulator and other devices,upgrading the bullet forging equipment to automatic production line.This significantly improves the working environment which seriously endangers the health of workers,such as high temperature,large dust,large noise and vibration,greatly reduces the labor intensity of workers,and has significant benefits for saving energy,improving product quality and reducing cost.Aiming at the problem of automatic loading and unloading of machining unit,KUKA manipulator is added,the structure of claw is designed,and the linkage control software and hardware of manipulator,medium frequency heating furnace and forging hydraulic press are developed.Aiming at the problem of automatic cooling and lubrication of die,the cooling and lubrication system is improved,the structure of recoil water circuit is added,and the blockage of pipeline is avoided.The linkage control software and hardware of cooling and lubrication system and forging hydraulic press are developedIn view of the problem that the size of the projectile workpiece depends on the manual on-line measurement during forging,an automatic on-line detection system is designed to realize the size detection of forgings at high temperature,so as to ensure the quality of forgings.In view of the short service life and high replacement frequency of the existing forging dies,which affect the efficiency of the automatic production line,the improvement design of the punch manufacturing process is carried out.Through production verification,the service life of the die can be increased from the original average of 100 forgings per punch to the average of 450 forgings.Through the research,design and improvement of the above problems,the automation of bullet forging is realized,and the expected research objectives are achieved.It provides a reference solution for the automation of similar forging production,which has important practical engineering value.
