The quality demand increases grandually with the international market,especially to the plate shape and surface quality.The shape defect of strip is a bottleneck about the further improvement for Jingtang company,at some point.Not only the quality has been affected,but also the downstream users' deep processing,such as welding,assembling.The demand for the shape accuracy increases along with the decline of thickness,especially for the extreme-demensioned(?1.2 mm).The equipment deployment,current process,product mix have been researched about Shougang Jingtang company in this study.And the causing reason about shape defect has been systemly analized.The process has been optimized aiming at particular defect.The main content is as follows.1)The shape control system has been researched systematically.The methods and basic strategies have been analyzed.The optimization method about wave shape has been conducted thoroughly.2)The reason about strip uplift has been gathered and categorized.The combination control,process,equipment and site operation have been considered.And the wave shape control strategies have been summed up.3)The causing reasons about M type defect are discussed,and the improving methods are proposed.The strategies about shape control of TEMAIC are analyzed on which the shape control strategy about steel is assessed.4)The mill stiffness under different rolling force is calculated by stiffness test.The calculated value is used for the gap setting.The deviation of stiffness with two side can be got by stiffness test.By comparing the bounce curve,the stiffness deviation about operational side and driving side can be got.At the same time,the reason about the mill stiffness deviation on two side is analyzed.The influence of back-up roll and setting rolling force are the main factors on the stiffness.
