As a model of sustainable development,low-carbon manufacturing has received wide attention from domestic and foreign scholars.Especially in the field of manufacturing,the industry consumes large amounts of resources and energy while emit large amounts of CO2 which has a great impact on the environment.Therefore,the carbon emissions from quantitative manufacturing process are the basis for low-carbon manufacturing research.Grinding is usually used as a finishing manufacturing method.Compared with other cutting methods,grinding has high machining accuracy,but it has the disadvantages of high energy consumption,high resource consumption and high emission.Therefore,this paper mainly studies the carbon emissions of grinding.The main research work done is as follows:(1)Identify carbon sources for grinding based on the current common accounting standards for carbon emissions,obtain the carbon emission boundaries of processing,and select suitable carbon emission factors for each carbon source,including emission factors such as electricity,materials and waste disposal.Quantify the grinding process from three aspects of waste,resources and energy,and focus on the carbon emissions' mathematical quantitative relationship from the energy consumption in the grinding process,the generation of wear debris,the abrasion and dressing of the grinding wheel and the use of grinding fluid and combined with the common method of carbon accounting,the grinding theory and processing experience,and so on,to build a carbon emission accounting model based on grinding.(2)Based on the constructed carbon emission accounting model,the 45 steel workpieces are subjected to the carbon emission test of grinding process.The carbon emission data of the steel workpieces are obtained by changing the grinding wheel speed,grinding depth and workpiece feed speed.Study the impact of different grinding parameters on material removal energy consumption carbon emissions,energy consumption carbon emissions,waste carbon emissions and total carbon emissions.(3)Based on the carbon emission accounting model,taking the grinding depth,feed speed and wheel linear velocity as optimization variables,a multi-objective optimization model with the least carbon emission and the shortest processing time as the objective function is established,and using genetic algorithm toolbox,get a set of optimized solutions both to meet the processing requirements,but also to achieve efficient low-carbon processing.Compared carbon emission data obtained from optimized grinding parameters with the experimental data can verify the feasibility of the model.Therefore,based on the grinding carbon emission accounting model,the optimal process parameters which not only meets the processing quality but also meets the requirements of low carbon can be obtained before actual processing?Provide a research foundation for green grinding and carbon accounting system.
