The quality of special steel can prove one country's steel power.It is also the main raw material of military production,High-tech products and machinery,automobile and other necessary industries.Baosteel Special Steel Shaoguan Co.,Ltd.(Hereinafter referred to as"Baosteel Special Shaoguan Company")fill the blank of Guangdong province in this field.With the improvement of automation control in the production line,the labor intensity and man-made interference reduce effectively which can make the insurance of production quality stability thereby improving the yield and reducing the production cost.The automatic control system has been optimized and improved continuously since November 26,2012 which was the day that the large bar productison line of Baosteel special steel Shaoguan had put into operation.The main content of this paper includes the following aspects:(1)Elaborating the big bar production process and the technological requirements,and the rolling process is studied in details,so as to make clear the automation of specific goals and requirements of control in different stages.(2)The function and realization mode of automatic control system in rolling process are studied in details,and the key controlling technology are deeply analyzed.At the same time,combining with the production practice,finding out and putting forward problems,developing solutions,designing optimization and transformation of the automatic control system,the system optimization results are analyzed and summarized the main automation control of roughing mill,flying shear and rolling machine,protect demand of control system for the development of large section bar of the SIGS.(3)Analyzing and researching of the control idea and mathematical model of tracking control,include the rolling stock tracking control,the micro tension timing control,the micro tension sampling control,the parameter adaptive micro tension PI controller control and the speed adaptive control of the rolling mill,etc.Optimizing the micro tension controlling speed automatic system to make sure the speed matching relationship between the frames reaches the best state,thus improving the product quality.(4)Researching and analysising of rolling line rolling mill Sinamics SM150 transmission system,such as Sinamics S120 and roller mill drive system and the flying shear DC drive system for main drive of SIEMENS 6RA70 function module and operation effect.To Analyze the principle and find out the cause of the fault,optimize the characteristics of the transmission,and meet the response requirements of the production process to the dynamic characteristics and the high precision.Generally,in the research process,in-depth study of the production process,fully meet the needs of the process flow,optimize the automatic control system.In order to reduce the operator's labor intensity,stabilize the process quality and improve the rate of finished products,it provides a technical guarantee,and finally achieves the purpose of the research,and has achieved good results.
