Oriented silicon steel,which is regarded as "the jewel on crown" of steel industry,is the second largest strategic product of Baosteel.But more than 10 user's complaints between 2014 and 2016 about rust had seriously affected user satisfaction and damaged the image of Baosteel.We decided to seal the Oriented Silicon-steel Recoiling and Trimming Line(RTL for short)to improve the production environment,because there was evidence that it was related to rust defect.To solve the quality problem quickly,the project needed to be implemented as soon as possible.However,there is a big conflict between the project and regular production because the line needs to be shut down for construction.It is very meaningful to study how to accomplish the project as soon as possible under the premise of minimizing the impact on regular production.This paper analyzes the current situation of the sealing project for Baosteel Oriented Silicon-steel Recoiling and Trimming Line,compiles the project schedule plan and actualizes schedule control based on the theory of project scheduling management.The main contents are as follows:(1)Analysis of the project current situation.According to the project background,content,objectives,organization and characteristics,the project schedule requirements are clearly defined.The factors that affect the progress of the project are analyzed from four aspects.(2)Project schedule plan and optimization.According to the project requirements,this paper carries out WBS and responsibility assignment,estimates the activity time using"analogous estimation method",and defines the critical path.The preliminary plan is optimized considering various restrictions on the project,especially the time optimization of downtime construction on the key path.(3)Project schedule control.Project schedule dynamic control procedure is worked out based on the optimized schedule plan.The "earned value method" is used to monitor the project dynamically,and the improvement measures and methods are put forward for the deviation in the construction process.From this project,there are some useful project management methods to learn.It is need to adopt appropriate methods and tools to control the project schedule in the future projects,considering the actual situation of the project.
