China is a big country in coal mining and consumption. The safe production of coal supports the sustainable and healthy development of national economy. As an important transportation equipment for fully mechanized coal mining face, scraper conveyor's safe, stable and reliable operation directly affects the safe production and coal output of coal mining face. With the rapid development of coal industry, the use of permanent magnet synchronous variable frequency all-in-one motor to drive the scraper conveyor has become a new trend. However, due to the poor underground working environment, the heavy load and impacts from load of the conveyor, and the randomness of coal mining, the scraper conveyor is prone to problems such as unbalanced power distribution of head and tail motors, variable frequency motor failure of drive system, damage of scraper chain of chain drive system in operation, which will seriously affect the production schedule and economic benefits of coal enterprises. Therefore,it is necessary to research and develop a set of centralized control system of the scraper conveyor driven by permanent magnet variable frequency motor, which is composed of three components: the power coordinated control system, the condition monitoring system and the upper computer monitoring system,so as to realize the power coordinated control of motor, the condition monitoring of permanent magnet variable frequency all-in-one motor and chain, and the remote monitoring of the whole system, and improve the smoothness and safety of the scraper conveyor. In view of the power coordinated control problem of scraper conveyor drive motor,an experimental platform is designed to simulate the actual scraper conveyor, and the coordinated control system is constructed by combining the experimental platform, motor, controller and upper computer.Based on CANopen protocol, the control program is written to adjust the motor speed according to the real-time change of load,so as to achieve the power balance of two motors in the case of load fluctuation. In view of the condition monitoring problem of all-in-one motor and chain, the condition monitoring principle of all-in-one motor is studied to select monitoring parameters, the chain failure status are analyzed to determine themonitoring scheme.Based on the actual all-in-one motor and the designed scraper tilt simulation test platform, the programs of all-in-one motor condition monitoring, scraper tilt monitoring algorithm and motor current difference monitoring algorithm are developed to complete the corresponding monitoring tasks. The remote upper computer monitoring system is developed by kingview to realize the remote monitoring and control of the coordinated control system and the condition monitoring system, and the development processes, such as project establishment, equipment connection, interface design, database definition and animation connection, are implemented. On the basis of completed the whole system, the functions of each subsystem are tested. The results shows that CANopen communication transmits data quickly and accurately, the head and tail motors can achieve good power distribution effect under the condition of load variation, the operation state of all-in-one motor and chain can be monitored in real time and reliably, the functions of the three components of the centralized control system are normal and effective. The research of this topic can improve the operation safety and automatic control level of the scraper conveyor, which is of positive significance for further enriching and improving the centralized control system's related technology of the scraper conveyor driven by permanent magnet variable frequency motor.
