The Relationship Between The Drapability And Crispness Of Knitted Fabrics And Clothing Shape

Knitted fabric has irreplaceable advantages in wearing performance due to its unique properties and advantages.And because of its unique fabric structure,the appearance,touch,mechanical properties and other characteristics,it is loved by many fashion designers,as a carrier of fashion design.The drapability and crispness of fabric intuitively reflect the ability of apparel modeling and shape retention of clothing materials,which are factors that directly affect garment modeling.Any garments' styling design depends on the mechanical properties of the fabrics.The unique characteristics of fabric,such as elasticity,and unsteady,give knitted fabrics more innovation possibilities in the process of garment modeling.This paper mainly uses the methods of induction,summary,experiment,comparison and other methods to carry out the research and analysis,and analyzes the common methods used by draping knitted fabric and crispness knitted fabric to shape garments,as well as their modeling characteristics and space status.Then,from the practice,it explores the influence of drapability and crispness of knitted fabrics on garment shape,so as to study the relationship between drapability and crispness of knitted fabrics and clothing shape.The effects of drapability and crispness of knitted fabrics on clothing shape are summarized.Clothing shape in turn depends on the mechanical properties of knitted fabrics.The combination of the two determines the spatial relationship and state of garment and human body.This is of great significance to the innovation and practice of knitted tailored garment modeling.
