Elastic knitted underwear is becoming more and more popular with the respect to beauty. Therefore, much attention is focused on the garment pressure comfortability. So it is practical to study the factors influencing the elastic knitted garment pressure.In order to find the factors which influence the knitted garment pressure comfortability, the research is arranged by following methods:(1) Two single jerseys's elastic recovery percentage of elongation is tested to obtain the elasticity value, which are different fabrics and the similar spandex percentage.(2) Tube fabric garment pressure is tested in a large range of extension ratio to find the relationship between extension ratio and garment pressure.(3) The garment samples are made of the fabrics above, to investigate that how the fitness of spandex elastic knitted garment influences garment pressure comfortability, with the standard model and Air-pack Type Contact Pressure Measurement System.(4) Questionnaire survey are performed to obtain the subjective evaluation on the garment pressure comfortability.(5) The correlation is discussed with the combination of objective evaluation and objective testing.The following results can be obtained by the research and theoretical analysis.(1) With respect to knitted fabric elasticity test under the small extension ratio, yarn strength tester is employed, which is with the same working principle but with higher precision, compared with electronic fabrics strength tester.(2) Fabric elongation rate and fullness are two dependent variables, which can be regarded as one independent variable actually. The relationships between garment pressure and the fitness can be translated into the relationship between garment pressure and fabric extension ratio.(3) There are many factors influencing knitted garment pressure, such as fabric elasticity, fabric extension ratio or fitness, human body surface curvature and so on. There exists an inverse proportion relationship between the garment pressure and the fabric elasticity, namely the bigger the fabric elasticity ,the smaller garment pressure on the human body; there is a direct proportion relationship between garment pressure and fabric elongate rate with the same situation, the bigger the fabric elongate rate or the smaller of fullness, namely more tight-fitting of the garment, the bigger of the garment pressure; there is a direct proportion relation between the garment pressure and body surface curvature, namely with the static condition, under the same style sample and the stretch condition, the bigger the body surface curvature, the bigger the garment pressure.(4) Through the pressure values comparison we can know that the surface curvature of bust point (BP) is the biggest in the whole human body, which means that this point has the biggest clothing pressure value under the static condition. Therefore, garment with bust point (BP) pressure value of the spot surpassing the comfort pressure value is recognized as uncomfortable.(5) With combining the subjective evaluation and the objective pressure test, the appraisal bondage feeling and the objective test pressure increases with the decreasing of garment dimension, and have the same trends, the bondage feeling can reflect the objective pressure value size in the certain degree,the stronger bondage feeling ,the bigger corresponding pressure value.
