Pneumatic separation of tobacco shreds from residual cigarettes can reduce labor intensity of workers,reduce environmental pollution,save energy and reduce mechanical damage to recycled tobacco shreds.It is an effective measure in response to the requirements of "Lean Management,Cost Control and Efficiency Increase" in the Opinions of the State Tobacco Monopoly Bureau on Promoting Lean Management in Enterprises.At present,the domestic and foreign research on the treatment methods of the residual cigarettes is still focused on "improving the mechanical destruction of cigarettes and separating and recovering tobacco shreds".Although the crushing rate is reduced to a certain extent,there are still some deficiencies such as high tobacco end rate,low shredding rate,high energy consumption and environmental pollution.Aiming at the shortcomings of the traditional treatment method of mechanically destroying the residual cigarettes,this paper uses the dense-phase pneumatic conveying principle to treat the residual cigarettes and recover the tobacco shreds: sorting the disordered cigarettes,fixing the cigarettes,applying high-pressure air flow at the filter tip,blowing the tobacco shreds out of the cigarettes under the action of the air flow,and realizing the separation of the tobacco shreds from the cigarettes.This paper designs a device that can automatically sort cigarettes and pneumatically separate tobacco shreds.Its structure is simple,its maintenance is convenient,and its use cost is low.The specific research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Analyze the existing treatment methods and equipment for residual cigarettes at home and abroad,and analyze the causes of high crushing rate and pollution.Aiming at the shortcomings of the existing tobacco shred separation methods,a pneumatic tobacco shred separation device is designed.(2)Solid Works software is used to carry out three-dimensional modeling on the automatic tobacco sorting device and the pneumatic tobacco shredding device for pneumatic tobacco shredding,and key mechanisms such as cigarette filter identification,automatic sorting,automatic cigarette feeding,blowing and separation are researched and designed.(3)Based on ANSYS Workbench,the flow around the cigarette on the flat plate is simulated,and the effect of airflow on the cigarette is studied.The airflow at the key position of the automatic cigarette sorting device is simulated to study the principle of cigarette sorting.(4)Fluent and EDEM are used to couple,simulate the process of cigarette sorting by airflow,and study the movement state of cigarette and related influencing factors.Design experiments to verify the influence of cigarette movement speed on cigarette sorting.(5)The process of pneumatic separation of tobacco shreds is simulated,the motion state of tobacco shreds under the action of blowing airflow is analyzed,and the motion mechanism of tobacco shreds is studied.Several groups of injection simulations with different pressures are designed to explore the influence of pressure on the separated tobacco shreds,and the pressure of injection airflow suitable for the separated tobacco shreds is obtained.According to the comparison between the experiment of pneumatic separation of tobacco shreds conducted by other scholars and the traditional treatment method of residual tobacco shreds,the advantages and disadvantages of pneumatic method,traditional mechanical dismantling method and manual treatment method in the treatment of residual tobacco shreds are compared.
