| The inclusion is a kind of micro flower hidden in the gem.The design of the inclusion is limited to the discussion of gem identification or the presentation of special optical effects during gem cutting.So far,the inclusion itself has been used as the design object of jewelry It is rare.The author hopes to perform perceptual thinking and artistic presentation on the microscopic natural object,including inclusions,to find and discover the unique charm of this microscopic existence and show it through the medium of jewelry,which is also the purpose of this thesis.Jewelry is the visual art form that is closest to life,and it must be affected by society and culture.Therefore,the first chapter of this article focuses on the characteristics of jewelry in the contemporary context and uses specific cases to explain the design overview(ie intuitive,fragmented,heavy(Constructed),then in this context,how to further break through the conventional level of understanding of inclusions,and seek their own design language and "inclusion" presentation.The second chapter of this article focuses on the characteristics of the inclusion itself,including the shape,color,and quality of the inclusion,which directly affect the aesthetic communication of the gemstone.For example,the starlight effect is the rational design of the material.This article advocates respecting the existence of differences within gemstones,rather than subjectively ignoring the microscopic natural object,because inclusions provide possibilities for the application and performance of jewelry design with their unique visual structure and existence.The third chapter attempts to explore the human and social factors that form the difference between the two concepts through the most intuitive comparison between the "impurities"(inclusions)in the general concept and the typical flawless and eternal symbol "diamond".In terms of design and creation,for this purpose,the author reads a large number of relevant literary materials while accumulating visual experience,records the investigation process and thinking methods in detail,and launches multiple visual experiments related to the theme concept(redefining value),Across the border including installation art,sculpture art and performance art,and tried to find the most suitable jewelry expression.In the design method through the context conversion,the inclusion is crossed from gemology,the inclusion is treated as a concept,and the inclusion is interpreted from a completely new angle.Chapter 4 In the final jewelry design work,the way to display is to restore the discarded inclusions to the original gem state,that is,to return the inclusions to jewelry. |
