The development of China's private gold and jewelry enterprises began in the 1980s,and the real high-speed development period began in 2001 with the cancellation of the "unified allocation and purchase" plan management system and the establishment of Shanghai gold exchange.With the rapid growth of national economy and the blessing of demographic dividend,a number of excellent private gold and jewelry enterprises and brands have emerged.However,with the slowdown of economic growth and the increasingly fierce market competition,especially under the influence of the rapid development of Internet and consumption upgrading,the development of private gold and jewelry enterprises has gradually slowed down or even stagnated.Most enterprises are facing the problems of strategic transformation and organization change.MKR was founded in 2002.After more than ten years of development,it has gradually developed from a single OEM business for domestic famous jewelry brands to a comprehensive gold jewelry company with the whole industrial chain.The industrial chain involves a series of important links such as the design and development of gold jewelry,production and manufacturing,wholesale and retail,and brand operation.Like the problems encountered by the industry,MKR company has entered the bottleneck period of limited development and weak growth.Based on this,this paper takes the strategic transformation of MKR company as the background,deeply understands and analyzes the current situation of organizational problems of MKR company through questionnaire survey and interview,and helps MKR company effectively promote strategic transformation through the improvement and optimization of organizational design.Organization design is a comprehensive project with a wide range.This paper focuses on the improvement and optimization of organizational structure and management and control mode.Through the research and analysis of five common forms of organizational structure and their applicability,and based on the results of questionnaire survey and interview,the problems of MKR company's organizational structure and management and control mode are diagnosed and analyzed.On this basis,four improvement directions of organizational structure and management and control mode are put forward,including optimizing organizational level,merging similar businesses,establishing business unit system and reinforcing ability.Under the guidance of improvement direction,MKR's linear functional organizational structure is improved to that of business unit system under headquarters control.At the same time,the evaluation model of operation control mode is used to evaluate MKR The business divisions of the company are analyzed one by one,and a compound organizational management and control mode is proposed,that is,according to the evaluation results of each business division,the three modes of operation control,strategic control and financial control are used to cross operate;in order to effectively achieve the purpose of management and control,the original management and control interface of each business is improved and optimized.In order to ensure that the improvement of organization design can be carried out smoothly,a series of safeguard measures are also formulated according to the actual situation of MKR company.That is,through the cultural and ideological safeguard measures to unify ideas and reach a consensus to reduce the conflicts and obstacles in the process of promotion;to turn the improvement of organizational design into a top-notch project through the organizational and institutional guarantee to reduce the risk of resurgence in the implementation process;to provide professionals who are competent for the new organizational requirements through the relevant guarantee measures of human resources.The innovation of this paper mainly comes from the positive significance brought by the application of business unit system organizational structure in private gold and jewelry enterprises.The application of business unit system organization structure is relatively innovative for private gold and jewelry enterprises.The improvement of organizational structure from linear function system to business department system can help enterprises reduce management level through scientific planning Ensure a series of means such as control,fully stimulate the vitality of the organization and effectively enhance the strategic undertaking ability of the enterprise.Of course,there are also some deficiencies in this study,mainly reflected in the lack of foresight in the improvement of organizational structure and the lack of exploration in the overall improvement of organizational capacity.The organization follows the strategy,while the strategy follows the market,and the market is constantly changing,which means that the design of the organization is also a dynamic optimization process,rather than static.Only through continuous organizational optimization and improvement can enterprises achieve the established strategic objectives.The theory of strategy and organization has been widely used and practiced in this paper.At the same time,we hope to provide some valuable reference for more private gold and jewelry enterprises through the research and exploration on the improvement of MKR's organizational design.
