Oil sump is the container for collecting and storing oil of diesel engine.It is the crankcase of diesel engine with the engine body.At present,most of the oil sump shells of Marine diesel engines are cast parts,which are limited by casting technology,have long production cycle and are prone to defects.With the continuous progress of technology,the diesel engine develops towards the direction of high power and light weight.Welding technology is more and more widely applied in the field of material processing,the structure of the diesel engine oil pan to product technology becoming mature,and the development of welding simulation technology,to optimize welding process,ensure the quality of products is increasingly important to reduce the production cost,the process study of weldments provides strong technical support.In this paper,oil sump of diesel engine is taken as the research object,and the welding process of oil sump is simulated and analyzed.On the basis of simulation analysis,the welding process of oil sump is studied,and welding experiments are carried out to ensure the welding quality of oil sump.According to the structure characteristics of diesel engine oil sump,the welding technology of diesel engine oil sump is analyzed by CO2 gas shielded welding.This paper analyzes the welding technology of oil sump from the aspects of welding material,welding wire matching,welding spatter and weld penetration depth,and solves the problems of large spatter of oil sump welding,non-fusion and porosity defects of the top plate after processing.For oil pan welding deformation problem,the paper analyzes the factors that influence the welding deformation by establishing a physical model of the oil pan,using Hypermesh software entity model for the meshing,the Simufact Welding simulation software,the group of clearance,the assembly process,welding sequence and welding parameters for welding deformation simulation analysis,it is concluded that the factors of welding deformation of the oil pan under the clouds,through the analysis of simulation results,it is concluded that the oil pan is more reasonable welding process.Combined with simulation analysis conclusion and the oil pan production process,through optimizing the assembly,the deformation,rigid fixation and optimization measures of welding sequence and process parameters,made the best of the oil pan welding process,we conquer the welded the problem of the large amount of welding deformation of oil pan,so as to realize the welded oil pan without auxiliary support and plastic measures can meet the requirements of subsequent machining after welding,first in the country.Combined with the oil sump welding technique,to solve the contradictions between productivity and the employee,improving work efficiency and welding quality to ensure the oil pan,oil sump welding machine is developed,the special USES double location design,ensure the continuity and sustainability of welding operation,the mechanical arm,the synergy of jig and the displacement machine,realized for the first time in domestic Marine diesel engine oil pan automatic welding,and curing the oil sump of the application of welding technology.
