With the rapid development of modern grinding processing technology,the preparation process of grinding tools has become the focus of many researchers.CBN grinding wheels have many advantages,such as strong abrasive hardness,excellent high temperature thermal stability,chemical inertness and stability,and adapt to the range of materials.widely.However,the research on the key technology of CBN grinding wheel is not sufficient.high-frequency brazing.For example,it is still difficult to establish the geometric model of the brazed CBN grinding wheel with random shape characteristic abrasives.The mechanism of the CBN grinding wheel brazing process is not clear.The influence law of magnetic field,thermal field and heating coil size,heating time,depth position change,and load parameter changes are still unclear.This article studies the above-mentioned problems,and the main tasks include:(1)The APDL parametric design method was used to establish a geometric model of an ordered arrangement of brazed CBN grinding wheels with random abrasive grain shapes.(2)Using Maxwell,Fluent,and Transient Structural software,data simulation studies were carried out on the magnetic vortex field,transient temperature field,phase change field,and structural radial deformation realized with the grinding head substrate,respectively.(3)Based on the Ag-Cu-Ti braze research system,a solder paste with good viscosity suitable for CBN abrasive welding was formulated,and a grinding wheel head with CBN abrasive sequences arranged on a four-degree-of-freedom feeding device was fabricated.(4)Based on the analysis and guidance of the previous simulation results,the CBN grinding head was sintered with a high-frequency welding system,and the accuracy of the simulation was verified by the induction heating brazing experiment.Finally,the performance testing experiment of brazed CBN grinding wheel was carried out,and the interface state of the chemical metallurgical bonding of the prepared grinding head was observed under the electron microscope.The result showed that a good chemical metallurgical bonding was produced between the abrasive,the brazing and the matrix.During the experiment,the thermal field data formed by the brazing heating was collected and compared with the simulation results,which verified the feasibility of using the multi-field coupling simulation method for CBN grinding wheel brazing process guidance.
