In this thesis,three new Schiff base ligands H2L1,H4L2and H2L3were synthesized by the reactions of polyphenyldiamines with2-hydroxy-3-methoxy-benzaldehyde and 2,3-dihydroxy-benzaldehyde.These ligands contain abundant coordination points,which are favorable for the coordination with lanthanide ions(Ln)and 3d-block metals(Zn,Cd,etc.).In this thesis,four series of 4f and d-4f complexes were constructed by the use of H2L1,H4L2and H2L3ligands,including[Ln5(L1)4(OAc)4](Ln=Nd(1),Yb(2)),[Ln6(L3)2(L 4)4(OH)4(CF3SO3)2(DMF)2(Et OH)4]·2(CF3SO3)·2OH(Ln=Nd(3),Ho(4),Yb(5)),[Cd3Ln3(L3)3(OAc)6(OH)3](Ln=Sm(6),Yb(7))and[Zn6Ln2(L2)4(OAc)2(DMF)Et OH](Ln=La(8),Nd(9),Yb(10)).The Schiff base ligands were characterized by NMR and elemental analysis.The metal complexes were characterized by IR,UV,XRD,TG and SEM,and their luminescence properties were studied.Complexes 5,6,7 and 10 with good luminescence properties were selected for the study of fluorescence sensing.The results indicate that complex 5exhibits good fluorescence sensing behavior to F-anion and explosive2,4,6-trinitrotoluene(PA),with high sensitivities at ppm level.Complex 6shows both visible and near infrared(NIR)emission response to PA with ppm level.The complex 7 exhibits interesting luminescent sensing activity to antibiotics,in particular to ciprofloxacin(CPFX)and norfloxacin(NFX)with high sensitivity.Moreover,complex 7 was highly sensitive to ciprofloxacin hydrochloride containing CPFX in antibiotic drugs sold in drugstores.Complex 10 exhibits interesting luminescent sensing activity to antibiotics,in particular to NFAs with high sensitivity.
