With the development of science and technology,a variety of new printing methods emerge in endlessly.The traditional printing technology has been a lot of innovation and development.The areas of the printing industry are continuing to expand,particularly in the direction of the wide format inkjet printing market.Because of the features about no plate and digital image technology,UV digital inkjet printing technology has become a representative of the field in the wide format printing market.UV digital inkjet printing technology has a wide range of applications.UV digital inkjet printing technology has been applied from the early advertising industry,expanding to furniture manufacturing,textile,packaging,ceramics,label printing and other areas.Obviously,UV digital inkjet printing technology is a great opportunity for the development of furniture and wood products industry.The furniture and wood products industry is now quite mature.But the most methods of the traditional decorative production have the features of long cycle,high cost,low efficiency,which can't meet the need of individual market,environmental protection or the rapid production.UV digital inkjet printing technology happens to be able to fill in the gap.Nowadays,a large number of literature only studied the application of UV digital printing technology in the field of textiles and other fields.There is less literature about theoretical guidance of the application on furniture and wood products.The decorative pattern is the key difficulty for solving the UV digital inkjet printing technology on furniture and wood products.For this reason,the article based on characteristics of UV digital inkjet printing technology,studies on the surface decoration patterns of furniture and wood products.Combing with the research on technology and surface decoration patterns,the article is exploring the design rules of the digital inkjet printing patterns,which is significant for the promotion and development of UV digital inkjet technology on the furniture and wood products.According to the study,the main results of the paper are as follows:(1)Compared with the traditional furniture and wood surface decoration technology,UV digital inkjet printing technology with the features of wide range of materials,without plate,direct printing,high printing quality,the strong performance of details,has great advantage in the furniture and wood products field.The technology has emerged in the furniture,wood flooring,wooden doors,decorative painting and other industries.(2)The basic rules of decorative patterns for furniture and wood products are summarized from three aspects which are the position,the shape and arrangement of decorative patterns.This paper analyzes the design methods of the three kinds of digital inkjet printing,such as the artistic spray printing,the simulated process effect and the simulated texture effect.(3)Based on the basic process of UV digital inkjet printing,the specific process of applying UV digital inkjet printing technology to furniture and wood products is summarized as follows: original image design and production,scanner processing,colors management,substrate processing,digital inkjet printing,post processing.(4)Take the simulation of the 3D wood grain texture digital inkjet sample as an actual operation case,the paper discusses the specific method of using UV digital technology in furniture and wood products for the simulation of wood grain texture.Finally,through the experimental demonstration,testing the surface of wood products UV digital inkjet layer performance,the paper draws the corresponding conclusions which are accorded with national standard.
