With the enrichment of material life,people's requirements for food have gradually expanded from the basic quality pursuit to the aesthetic level of packaging design.High-quality food packaging design can not only ensure the safety of food,but also facilitate transportation and sales.More importantly,it has the characteristics of intuitiveness and guidance,which can enable the audience to understand the characteristics of food,thereby stimulating consumption behavior,and playing a vital role in increasing product sales.There are numerous types of food packaging on the market today.However,market research found that the design of these food packaging is single,lacking in innovation and experience.Based on the above-mentioned problems and current situation,the author integrates visual touch into the packaging design,and improves the packaging quality from the perspective of multi-sensory experience.This article focuses on visual touch.First,from the perspective of sensory cognition and the process of visual and tactile production,it summarizes the three characteristics of visual and tactile perception,namely sensory relevance,inducibility and empirical cognition.Secondly,based on the form of introducing visual and tactile sensation into packaging design,it summarizes its design strategy and role in modern food packaging,that is,using color as a breakthrough for emotional expression,"feeling" as a design thinking point,adding materials and modeling supplements,and combining Modern packaging and printing technology enables innovation and continuation of food packaging design.Then,the development trend of the nut industry,especially the consumer demand,was investigated and analyzed,and through questionnaire surveys,the target consumer group and the visual and tactile introduction plan for nut packaging were determined.Finally,on the basis of previous research,young people are the main consumer,combined with the characteristics of visual touch to design packaging and sensory fusion,and new forms are used to increase experience and interest,and design the nut food packaging of the "Yi Dianshi" brand.The audience mainly relies on vision to understand the world,and relies on touch to feel the world.The integration of vision and touch will effectively enhance people's perception,deepen their understanding of things,and at the same time meet their spiritual experience and psychological needs.Therefore,graphic designers integrate visual and tactile design into food packaging,expand the dimensions of packaging,and promote product sales.
