The development and utilization of minerals in our country over the years has made the simple and easy mineral processing resources face an increasingly shortage situation,which makes us face the problem of shortage of easy selection.The development utilization rate of low-grade refractory ore has increased year by year.China's mineral processing industry needs to use a large number of grinding equipment with finer grain size.Vertical spiral agitator mill(also known as tower mill)has higher energy utilization rate than traditional grinding equipment,and has a superior grinding principle.It is considered promising Powder manufacturing equipment by people in the industry.However,China's research on the advanced grinding equipment of the agitator mill is not sufficient,lacking certain design experience,and the research on some parameters that may affect the grinding effect is not clear,resulting in the spiral agitator mill has insufficient grinding efficiency and high energy consumption in the production process.The existence of this phenomenon has a serious adverse effect on the wide range of applications of the agitator mill.Therefore,research on the agitator mill should continuously improve the production efficiency of the mill and reduce the energy loss during the operation of the agitator mill,improve the related industries of China's mineral resources has important meaning.In this paper,based on the small laboratory agitator mill,the spiral stirrer is used to improve the grinding effect of the agitator.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Using Solidworks software to model the components of the agitator mill,introduce into EDEM,study the grinding mechanism of the vertical spiral agitator mill by means of discrete element method,select the evaluation index to evaluate the grinding effect,and analyze the abrasion during the process.(2)Study the stirrer rotation speed,medium ball particle diameter and medium filling rate which will affect the grinding effect of the agitating mill,analyze the influence of these parameters on the grinding process,and obtain the possibility of improving the grinding effect.(3)Study the height of the cylinder and the diameter of the cylinder which can increase the processing capacity of the agitating mill,and study the change of the grinding effect when changing the structure of the agitating mill.The effect of the addition of the agitator mill liner and the form of the liner on the particle motion state in the agitator mill was studied.(4)Orthogonal experiment on the influencing factors affecting the agitating mill,analyze the influence degree of different factors on different evaluation indexes,analyze the orthogonal experimental results,and obtain the experimental level combination suitable for the work of the agitator mill,and verify the reliability of the agitator mill under this working condition.(5)After analyzing the orthogonal experimental results,the main factors affecting the grinding process of the agitator mill are obtained.The main influencing factors are further analyzed,and the relationship between other influencing factors is studied.
