| Electroslag remelting technology began to rise in the 1930s,and it has developed rapidly in a short period of decades.Now it has entered a new stage of development.However,with the increasing market demand,the traditional electroslag remelting process has become increasingly unable to meet the production process requirements aiming at "improving quality,improving efficiency and reducing costs",so the research of new production process began.Combining electroslag remelting with continuous casting production,the continuous casting electroslag furnace can increase the length of production and the yield of finished products,thus greatly improving the production efficiency.Based on a special steel company continuous casting ESF project in Jiangsu Province,this paper develops a control system with PLC controller as the core,and realizes the purpose of ESC production.The system adopts the upper and lower computer structure:the lower uses Siemens S7-300 and ET200M series PLC,through PROFIBUS-DP bus to achieve the design of control system,using Siemens STEP7 software programming to achieve the control of production process.The upper computer part adopts industrial control computer and WINCC configuration software to realize the monitoring and parameter adjustment of electroslag continuous casting production process.In the electroslag remelting system of continuous casting,the accurate detection and control of metal level in the mould is one of the key control technologies to improve the quality of electroslag ingot.Therefore,a liquid level detection method based on thermocouple is proposed.According to the temperature change of 12 thermocouples,the liquid level position is calculated by model,and the liquid level is controlled by drawing ingots through closed-loop control. |
