Shape memory alloys (SMA) with excellent performance and super-elastic memory to the current application of this material has been around the energy, electronics, machinery, aerospace, medical, agricultural and household electrical appliances.Copper base memory alloy low in price, The Cu-Al-Ni SMA with columnar crystal structure cast by Ohno continuous casting (OCC) have excellent mechanical, fatigue and memory performance. with a wide range of applications.In this paper, According to the OCC technology of the basic principles ,we designed, develop and have made a set of horizontal OCC equipment, make use of the fuzzy self-tuning PID technology to keep the temperature in needs in furnace temperature range. Moreover, in view of the resistance wire heating's characteristic, has solved the resistance wire heating over modulation problem using the PID overshoot-free technology,enhanced the temperature precision greatly.Has used the touch-screen and the PLC composition servo motor control system in the liquid level altitude and the traction rate control, realizes the hauling system and the liquid level altitude control system's coordinated work, PLC control played a strong, stable and reliable, flexible application, Touch-screen as a Human and Machine Interface, the system contact surface is friendly, simple direct-viewing, simplify operation. Is advantageous to overall system's real-time control.Test shows that this system's stability is good, the reliability is high, ease of operation,We had casted Cu-Al-Ni SMA 2mm and 6mm in diameter are with columnar crystal structure by OCC process in the laboratory, has achieved the design requirements.
