As a new type of flexible smoke blocking technology,air curtains have been widely used in subway stations,stair front rooms,underground mines and other places.It can not only effectively block the spread of smoke and protect important areas,but also does not affect the evacuation of people and the transfer of materials,so the prospect Very big.The structure of the offshore platform is complex,and the lives of personnel and oil and gas processing equipment are highly concentrated,which is prone to fire and is extremely harmful.Considering the influence of smoke on personnel evacuation and material transfer when a fire occurs on an offshore platform,this paper proposes and studies the feasibility of applying smoke-blocking air curtains to cabin fires on offshore platforms.This article first takes the power distribution room that is prone to fire as the research object,establishes a physical model through fire dynamics simulation software(FDS)and simulates the two working conditions of cabin fire with or without air curtain.The comparison results show that the air curtain blocks smoke when the cabin fires.The effect is obvious and has research value.Then simulated and analyzed the best parameters of smoke blocking at different jet angles and different jet velocities.The results of the study found that the best jet angle for air curtain smoke blocking is related to the installation position of the air curtain.The closer the air curtain is to the fire compartment door,the best jet flow.The greater the angle.The optimal jet velocity of the air curtain to block smoke is positively correlated with the power of the fire source,and the relationship is obtained.At the same time,the influence of the movement speed of the incoming smoke on the optimal jet velocity of the air curtain is studied,and the optimal jet velocity of the air curtain corresponding to the velocity of the incoming smoke is obtained.Based on the prevention of high-power fires in the cabins of offshore platforms,and according to the research law of the best parameters of air curtains,an adjustable multi-air curtain system was proposed and designed,and one of the fire compartments of the offshore platform was selected for simulation analysis using FDS software.The feasibility of the system.At the same time,the influence of mechanical smoke exhaust on the adjustable multi-air curtain system was studied,and it was found that the mechanical smoke exhaust and the adjustable multi-aie curtain system are coupled with a better smoke blocking effect.
