At present,due to the service life,corrosion,natural disasters and other problems of oil and gas pipelines in China,there are often emergencies such as pipeline leaks,which require pipeline removal of the leaking pipeline to replace the new pipeline.However,the existing large ring gear split pipe cutter is bulky and bulky,which needs to be hoisted by crane for transportation and installation.It mainly aims at the gas transmission pipeline with large diameter of more than 813 mm,large wall thickness of more than22 mm,and material of X80 high-strength steel.If it is used for the cutting of the oil transmission pipeline with small diameter of less than 711 mm,small wall thickness,and X70 steel,the economic type is poor.In addition,it is used for the southwest pipeline crane in mountainous areas with complex terrain Loading and transportation are also very inconvenient.The traditional horizontal milling pipe climbing machine is easy to clamp the cutter because of the large internal stress of the pipe and the large contact area between the disc milling cutter and the incision.Therefore,it is urgent to develop a chain drilling,milling and pipe climbing machine which can be modular assembly,manual handling and manual installation.In this paper,based on the analysis of domestic and foreign pipe cutting equipment’s pipe cutting scheme and pipe crawling scheme,a new scheme of vertical milling using a chain pipe crawling trolley,small drilling and milling bits mounted on the pipe crawling trolley and vertical milling is proposed for oil pipelines of X70 steel with small pipe diameter and small wall thickness below (?)711mm.In this project,the structure design and theoretical calculation of small drilling and milling head system,pipe climbing car and chain track will be carried out,the three-dimensional modeling and Simulation of drilling and milling pipe climbing machine will be completed by Solidworks,and the finite element software ANSYS workbench will be used to analysis the static and the modal of key parts.The rationality of the structure of the drilling and milling pipe climbing machine is verified by comparing the theoretical calculation and software analysis results.The multi-objective structural optimization design of key parts is carried out based on the response surface method using the optimization module of ANSYS workbench,and the lightweight design of the drilling and milling head box is realized.
