| Seatting cross-country skiing is a sport in which disabled athletes sit on ski seats and slide on hills and snowy fields with ski poles in their hands.It is also one of the official events in the Winter Paralympics.However,there are deficiencies in this event in our country.This is mainly due to the late start of cross-country skiing in our country,weak talent base and lack of talent.On the one hand,this is mainly due to the late start of cross-country skiing in our country,weak talent base and lack of theoretical guidance;on the other hand,the daily training environment of athletes is relatively closed,which cannot mobilize athletes’ enthusiasm effectively.With the development of science and technology,virtual reality technology has gradually matured,VR has been widely used in sports,such as education,tourism,film viewing,and home improvement.It is worth mentioning that,indoor simulation of ice and snow sports has been promoted in many European countries.In response to the above problems,based on the superiority of virtual reality technology,we designed a skiing simulation system that integrates hardware and software to assist athletes training in daily.The main content of this article is as follows:1.According to the design principles of the simulated skiing equipment(hardware system),designed the overall structure and pneumatic control system of the skiing simulator.The equipment is mainly composed of a rodless cylinder,sliding platform,threedimensional force sensor and other pneumatic control valve body composition,athletes can hold ski poles to forcefully push the sliding platform on the sliding track of the rodless cylinder,by overcoming the resistance of the cylinder back cavity resistance system and doing work to simulate the actual limb movements during skiing.When the athlete simulates skiing,the three-dimensional force sensor can wirelessly transmit the force on each axis of the sliding platform to the computer server.2.Using Unity3D software to realize the creation of scene elements such as topography,rocks,forests,sky,sunlight,shadows,etc.Using shader technology and texture mapping technology to portray the tree model in the virtual reality environment In the 3D MAX,the production of the skiing character model was created and imported into the virtual scene of Unity3D.3.The distribution of the bending stiffness of the flexible snowboard is used to approximate the load distribution on the contact surface of the snowboard and the snow by using the normalization method.And the functional relationship between the concentrated force acting on the snowboard and the depth of snow immersion is established.In addition,the theoretical analysis of their overall force is carried out,and different forms of sports mechanics models have been established when the skier gliding on different terrains.4.According to the wireless data communication protocol format,we have designed a set of efficient and concise program algorithms that can be used to realize data transmission between software and hardware,builting a complete message system.Then we integrate the forces on each axis of the sliding platform with the sports mechanics model,and the script written into the software system realizes the accurate motion control of the ski character model in the virtual scene.At the same time,the collision detection algorithm based on the OBB bounding box is introduced to simulate the collision between rigid bodies.In terms of UI design,the system can display the data representing the movement status on the screen in real time.Finally,we tested the performance of this software system,the results show that it has stable operating performance,small memory footprint,short execution time of each script module.Most experiencers can get a good interactive sports experience by using system,which has a certain practicability. |
