In this paper, six current mask product standards in China and thirteen current standards in four major mask export destination countries which include the United States,Japan,South Korea and Russia, and two major regions, the European Union and Australia, are compared and analyzed based on literature research. The differences and similarities of particle filtration efficiency, respiratory resistance(or pressure difference)in test methods, specific parameters and technical requirements are pointed out in detail.According to the relevant principles,it is concluded that the level of some indicators in China's mask standards may not reach the suitable level of this kind of mask, and still some indicators are not considered in China's standards compared with that abroad. It is suggested in this paper that further research and refinement need to be done for the construction of China's mask standard system and the improvement of internationalization level. At the same time, because of the requirement of temperature and humidity pre-treatment for many indicators in the mask standard, the process in China is very complicated, which affects the efficiency of testing and is not conducive to the circulation of products. In this paper, the effects of temperature, humidity and treatment time on filtration efficiency and respiratory resistance of respirator particles were studied by orthogonal test and single factor analysis, temperature is found to have a greater influence on respiratory resistance, and humidity on particle filtration efficiency. The effect of temperature on the two indexes is close to a quadratic linear relationship. The effect of humidity is a linear relationship, which is negatively related to the filtration efficiency and positively related to the respiratory resistance.Duration of treatment cannot be ignored but has no obvious characteristics, and shortening the processing time may cause inconvenience to the laboratory operation. To sum up,this paper suggests to simplify the requirement of temperature and humidity pretreatment in the current non-medical mask standard: put the sample in the environment of 55 °C and 85% relative humidity with pretreatment for 24 hours. The validation test shows that the intra-group correlation coefficient between the optimized scheme and the current standard test results is about 0.9,and the pretreatment time of temperature and humidity is shortened by 48 hours compared with the current standard.
