With the clothing industry ushering in personalized and diversified market demand,three-dimensional geometric modeling has become one of the most popular design elements for designers because of its unique shape.The design of three-dimensional women’s clothing not only meets the needs of consumers for the unique style of clothing,but also conforms to the aesthetic trend of contemporary futurism.However,there are no systematic rules to follow in the garment design of three-dimensional geometric modeling,such as the difficulty of plate making and the time-consuming of sample garment making.At the same time,with the rapid development of science and technology,3D virtual technology plays an increasingly important role in the garment intelligent manufacturing industry.However,at present,3D virtual technology is mainly used in basic styles,and there is less research on its application in personalized special modeling design.Therefore,it is of great significance to study how to use 3D virtual technology to design and simulate the appearance of different types of geometric modeling requirements,which can effectively improve the efficiency of three-dimensional women’s clothing design and expand the design ideas.In view of the current problems,this topic is based on the geometric modeling elements,and based on the basic geometric modeling,analyzes the plane expansion mode of cylinder,sphere and cone;This paper analyzes the composition and modeling methods of complex solid geometric modeling,designs 42 solid geometric modeling according to different modeling methods and geometry types,and unfolds them in plane.At the same time,based on the technical characteristics of 3D virtual software,taking the geometric modeling elements as the starting point,the body shape and clothing profile were analyzed,and the 3D virtual design of 21 three-dimensional women’s clothing samples was carried out based on three different 3D virtual design methods.The main research results and conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on the different material states of solid geometric modeling,it can be divided into three types: linear body,planar body and block body.The sphere,cylinder and cone can be obtained by winding,weaving,stacking,bending,twisting and inserting.(2)Through the design of 42 kinds of solid geometric modeling and the drawing of plane structure diagram,the law of complex solid geometric modeling in plane unfolding is obtained: first,the overall analysis is carried out to find the characteristics of circular unit and unit combination,and the circular unit is extracted;Then,the cyclic monomer is decomposed and the basic geometry is analyzed to find out the prototype of the basic geometry;Finally,it is expanded according to the plane expansion mode of the basic geometry.(3)Through the three-dimensional virtual design of 21 kinds of three-dimensional women’s wear,it is concluded that there are three-dimensional virtual design methods of three-dimensional women’s wear,which are mainly sewing and ironing process,body shape and three-dimensional modeling.The 3D virtual design method based on stitching technology mainly includes editing design of 2D template,layout design of template,stitching process design,use of insertion tool,setting of fabric performance and adjustment of appearance.The three-dimensional virtual design method based on human body shape is mostly used in the decoration design of local shape,and the emphasis is on the production of three-dimensional shape and the processing of three-dimensional garment pattern.The 3D virtual design method based on modeling focuses on the 3D virtual design of solid geometric modeling,and then combines with the dressed models to complete the overall modeling design.Through the study of the classification and plane expansion of three-dimensional geometric modeling,as well as the three-dimensional virtual design method of three-dimensional women’s clothing,we can provide a more systematic basis for the classification of complex three-dimensional geometric modeling,and provide three kinds of three-dimensional women’s clothing three-dimensional virtual design methods,At the same time,it can speed up the clothing design and production process,reduce the time cost and material cost in the design process,and meet the needs of the rapid development of the clothing industry.
