The beam pumping unit occupies the vast majority of oil production equipment because of its simple structure,high reliability and many other advantages.However,the high energy consumption of beam pumping unit seriously affects the enterprise's production profit,and the main reason affecting the energy consumption of pumping units is imbalance.While there are some shortcomings in artificial regulation,such as difficulty in regulation,high danger and low balance accuracy,which is not conducive to energy saving of pumping units.Therefore,it is necessary to study a beam pumping unit to adjust the balance automatically.Aiming at the existing problems of beam pumping units,this paper designed a beam pumping unit which can adjust the balance automatically.It can judge the balance state of the pumping unit automatically according to the operation parameters and adjust the balance device in real time.It effectively solved the problem that the pumping unit need to adjust manually periodically,and it can greatly reduce the cost of oil production due to the high adjustment precision and good balance effect.According to the research and analysis of conventional beam pumping units,the scheme of self-balancing beam pumping unit was put forward,and the size of four-bar linkage and the maximum balance torque were determined.According to the theoretical analysis of kinematics and dynamics,the size of four connecting rods was optimized by using MATLAB,which can reduce the crankshaft torque and improve the balance effect.According to the working conditions and relevant standards of pumping units,the structure design of the self-balancing beam pumping unit was carried out by Solid Works.ADAMS was used to simulate and analyze the conventional and self-balanced pumping units.By comparing the suspension motion curve?the force diagram at each hinge points and the crankshaft torque diagram of the two pumping units,it showed that the kinematics and dynamics performance of the self-balanced beam pumping unit was better and more conducive to energy saving.According to the simulation results,the finite element analysis of key components was carried out by using Workbench software.The results showed that the strength and stiffness meet the design requirements.The design of self-balancing device control system is completed.
