CMF Theory And Its Application In Modern Dining Table And Chair Furniture Design

Furniture plays an important role in people's daily life.With the continuous improvement of people's material life,people pay more and more attention to furniture not only for structural needs,but also for the needs of appearance.This article is based on the connection and correlation between color,material,surface treatment,or CMF process.The cluster analysis method and quadrant analysis are used to study the CMF analysis and the use of CMF in dining tables and chairs.Through the detailed analysis of subdivision CMF,the specific positioning of CMF in terms of somatosensory,environmental protection,style and so on is determined.Provide customers and designers with design assistance basis.The main research contents of this article are as follows:(1)Through research,it is concluded that the application status of CMF in modern furniture design and its theoretical research deficiencies lay the foundation for the CMF design of dining tables and chairs.(2)Analyze the application of CMF in eight furniture brands such as IKEA,Qumei,Meikemeijia,Huari,Yuexing,Shuangye,Landbond,Red Apple,and establish the independence and connection between the three.Each brand has different styles in dependence of CMF type.The overall CMF tone is mainly controlled by style.The light color reflects the lightness or liveliness,and the dark color reflects the solemn or heavy feeling,so as to determine the use of materials and the balance of surface treatment process Colors and materials echo the style.(3)By using quadrants to analyze the CMF design of the dining tables and chairs of various brands,the partial emphasis and advantages of each brand in the CMF are obtained.At present,the trend of CMF in the 1-2.5 line market is: American,European and light luxury.Its characteristics are solemn,the use of space is large,and the darker material is solid wood.The main process is carved wood and varnish.The2.5-3 line market is: Nordic,modern and new Chinese: its characteristics are lighter and thinner than the previous one,the material color is lighter than the previous one,the material uses wood characteristics,and the process is painting varnish.Popular modern styles below 3 lines: its style is simple and light-sensory,the color is uniformly lighter or pure black,and more materials are used,mostly lower cost materials.(4)Build CMF subdivisions and make data judgments on each subdivision to provide help in determining CMF design.The CMF color corresponding to the cmyk value is obtained,the corresponding material is wood,and the surface treatment is finishing,and the CMF design model is obtained.(5)Make detailed analysis of the structure,style and function of the dining table and chairs,and do a specific public opinion survey to provide a favorable basis for determining the carrier of the dining table and chair CMF design.
