Cinnamon essential oil is an important natural plant essential oil with special flavor,good functional activity and antibacterial properties.It has great application prospects in the fields of food,daily chemical and freshness.The thesis studied the method of extracting cinnamon essential oil by mobile steam distillation to improve the extraction yield of cinnamon essential oil.In addition,one kind of natural leave-on hand sanitizers was made by using the by-product of the extraction of cinnamon as a bacteriostatic agent,and the application of the by-product in the preservation of moon cakes was studied.Finally,the equipment for extracting cinnamon essential oil by mobile steam distillation was engineered.The main research contents and results are as follows:(1)Two different distillation methods by mobile steam distillation,limited time distillation and timed feed distillation,were used to extract cinnamon essential oil.When using the limited time distillation method,the order of various factors that affect the extraction rate of cinnamon essential oil was: extraction time> replacement time> loading amount> extraction power.The best process conditions were as follows: 167.7 min of extraction time,42 min of replacement time,122 g of loading amount and 1024 W of extraction power.At this time,the extraction yield of cinnamon essential oil was 5.54‰.When using the timed feeding method,the order of various factors that affect the extraction rate of cinnamon essential oil was: replacement time> loading amount> extraction power.The best conditions were as follows: 53.1 min of replacement time,122.5 g of loading amount,1013.6W of extraction power.At this time,the extraction rate of cinnamon essential oil was5.75‰.Under the conditions of the same extraction power,the same loading amount and the same extraction time for each layer of material,the yield of cinnamon essential oil by ordinary steam distillation was 3.91‰,while the yields of the two mobile steam extraction methods were 4.49‰ and 4.52‰ respectively.Both were significantly higher than steam distillation,showing that the mobile steam distillation had better extraction effect.At the same time,there was no significant difference in the yield of essential oil between the two extraction methods by mobile steam distillation.(2)The hand sanitizer with cinnamon bacteriostatic agent as the natural anti-bacterial ingredient was made.The results showed that the order of the factors affecting the anti-bacterial ability of the cinnamon hand sanitizer were as follows: cinnamon bacteriostatic content> p H > disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid,fatty alcohol polyoxyethyleneether sodium sulfate> propylene glycol.The cinnamon bacteriostatic content and p H value had a significant effect on the diameter of the zone of inhibition.When cinnamon bacteriostatic agent was 10%,propylene glycol was 3.0%,ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium was 1.5%,fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sodium sulfate was 3.0% and p H was 4.0,the diameter of the inhibition zone was the largest,19.96 mm.The appearance,smell,total active substance content,p H value,formaldehyde,arsenic,heavy metal lead and mercury content of the hand sanitizer were all in compliance with the relevant standards.And in the stability test,the hand sanitizer had no obvious changes in appearance,smell,color,etc.The hand sanitizer was also stable under the conditions of heat resistance and cold resistance.(3)Cinnamon by-product was used as the raw material in the preservation of moon cakes.The relevant experimental results showed that in the preservation of moon cake skins,the amount of molds and colonies increased with time.Spraying cinnamon essential oil on the skin surface was the best way to keep the moon cake skin fresh.Cinnamon essential oil with a concentration gradient of 0.02% could play a good role in keeping fresh and control costs.In the preservation of mooncake content,Wuren mooncake content was more prone to spoilage than lotus paste mooncake content.Cinnamon essential oil with a concentration gradient of 0.02% could play a good role in keeping fresh and control costs.In the optimization of compounding antiseptic formula,the order of factors affecting the number of molds of lotus paste moon cakes were as follows: natamycin> potassium sorbate> cinnamon essential oil.When cinnamon essential oil was 0.25 g/kg,natamycin was 0.4 g/kg,the potassium sorbate was 8 g/kg,the formula had the strongest ability to inhibit mold;the order of factors affecting the number of molds of the Wuren moon cake were as follows:natamycin> cinnamon essential oil> potassium sorbate.When cinnamon essential oil was0.25 g/kg,the natamycin was 0.4 g/kg,the potassium sorbate was 8 g/kg,the formula had the strongest ability to inhibit mold.The concentration of each ingredient was set as above and then added to the fillings in the ratio of 1:10(liquid : solid)And after adding the plant-based antibacterial ingredient cinnamon antibacterial agent,it can achieve the same antibacterial effect while reducing the amount of natamycin.(4)Based on the previous research results of the process of extracting cinnamon essential oil by mobile steam distillation,combined with the actual production changes,the mobile steam distillation equipment was designed preliminarily.It was mainly composed of shell,feed port,conveyor belt transmission device,steam inlet holes,steam outlet holes and waste material collection port.
