The gear involute artifact is the highest class entity standard in the field of Gear Involute Measurement.The successful development of the first class precision gear involute artifact can improve the system of gear precision traceability and value transmission in China,and improve the overall manufacturing class of China's gear industry.In order to break through the manufacturing theory and technical problems of the entity standard of the reference class gear involute artifact,the high precision gear Research Laboratory of Dalian University of technology has developed a double roller-guide type mechanical generating involute artifact lapping device based on the pure rolling reciprocating generating principle,The core components of the device are the base disc and guide,which are the absolute datum of the device.Therefore,it is very important to develop a high-precision base disc to meet the firstclass accuracy of involute artifact processing and detection.In order to solve the technical problems of ultra precision machining of inner and outer cylindrical surface of base disc,a set of outer cylindrical surface precision polishing device based on ring polishing process and a set of inner hole precision polishing tooling driven by hydraulic expansion mandrel were developed.The geometric motion model of the system in the polishing process of the outer ring of the base disc is established.The velocity vector analysis method is used to solve the velocity vector parameters and displacement vector parameters of each component,and the machining trajectory of the outer cylindrical surface of the base disc under different positions of the device on the ring polishing machine is simulated.Based on the working principle that the generatrix rotates around a fixed axis to form a cylindrical surface,a high-precision multi ball rotary shafting is developed.A high-precision adjustable positioning device based on asymmetric V-block is proposed and developed,which is used to adjust the multi-degree of freedom position of the base disc and the axial taper error.The developed ductile iron support plate can effectively utilize the thickness reduction in the ring polishing process and realize the radial continuous automatic micro feed of the base disc whose generatrix is tangent to its bottom surface in the same direction,and provide the observation slot for the light gap method.In addition,a needle roller cross washer and an adaptive elastic coupling are developed,which can improve the axial positioning accuracy of the base disc.In this paper dissertation,the refinement and assembly of the key parts such as the multi ball shafting,the adjustable positioning device,the end face of the base disc,the lapping sleeve and so on are completed.The experiments of outer ring polishing and inner hole polishing are carried out on the self-designed boron carbide lapping disc ring polishing machine and precision lathe,and the roundness error of the outer cylindrical surface is 0.2 ?m.The cylindricity error of inner hole is less than 1 ?m.The base disc has a micro drum shaped inner hole.The precision of the base disc can reach submicron class,which can significantly improve the reference precision of gear involute artifact machining and measurement,and meet the requirements of multi-functional reference gear involute artifact mechanical pure rolling generation lapping.So as to ensure the accuracy of calibration and transmission value of gear involute gauge,and promote the overall improvement of the quality of gear related products.
