Based on the theory and technique about the gear test at home and abroad.the Paper establishes the math model of measuring involute profile’s error in there different method in the coordinate,bases on the CNC gear measuring center.the theme studied the automatic measurement and evaluation of involute cylindrical gears,further,analyzing and comparing the measurement results.The main achievements of the article included:1. According to the gear measuring principle on coordinate.for which the ordinary generating method.tilt generating method, polar generating method.the paper discussed there’s theory thoroughly,established the measuring error’s model about the profile.discussed their accuracy.2. The theme analyses stressed on the items of the error sensitivity.owing to the different method.the direction of movement of the probe and the measurement direction of the force being caused by a different angle.so during the process of the measurement.the error of the probe showing a different impact.3. The paper introduces the principle of a CNC gear measuring center.discussed the accuracy of the problem on using standard calibration method and rotating mandrel ball calibration method when measuring machine zero calibration.4. Based on the CNC gear measuring centers,author formulated the three path planning and applied the standard gear under the same conditions,carried out several experiment.The results calculated,author get the total deviation’s uncertainty of each method applied to the tooth profile measurement.At the same time,in the same way,author do the same experiment to a normal gear and get the result.The focus of the establishment of the coordinate disturbs the profile’s error differently.
