In China,the comparative advantage of labor has been diminishing,which brings enormous pressure to small and medium-sized export enterprises.Like India,Vietnam,Cambodia,Africa and other labor-intensive developing countries are rapidly getting great development with the advantage of the domestic low-cost labor and catching up with China's footsteps,so as to rapidly gobble up China's existing market.It was a very difficult year as most of the trading companies suffered heavy losses in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.It puts forward new requirements for the enterprises' development in the new era,such as how to maintain sustainable development in the competition,how to excavate profit space,how to realize the the enterprise's max benefit in order to ensure the enterprises' stable development.Company C is an export enterprise established only more than ten years,which is mainly engaged in producing and exporting of bags and other gifts.In the face of the development requests in the new situation,how to choose a path,which is suitable for the enterprise's development based on its own characteristics and advantages,so as to not only adapt to the changes of the external environment,but also seek its own development and obtain rich returns.It is an important subject and severe adjustment to C Company.The paper firstly describes the external environment and opportunities from C company's external environment,as well as the internal resources and capabilities of C company,then analyzes the necessity and feasibility of C company's strategic transformation.Finally,it puts forward the transformation objectives,ideas,the specific transformation solutions and guarantee mechanism to ensure that the transformation plan can be implemented smoothly.The fundamental of enterprise's strategic transformation is to improve the core competitiveness and enhance the added value of products.The Smile Curve value chain Outlines the main path for the transformation and upgrading of C Company.It should extend from the bottom of the Smile Curve to the two ends with high added value by strengthening product's research and design and improving product's marketing ability.Therefore,it is proposed that the strategic transformation idea of C Company is to focus on product's research and design,as well as take foreign trade as the main strategic idea and domestic trade as the supplement in order to realize the double cycle development of foreign trade combined with domestic trade.The goal of the C Company's strategic transformation is to determine the brand development policy by getting rid of the primary processing and accelerate the realization of the company's strategic transformation by transforming the single sales market into a diversified sales market.
