Coal is an indispensable pillar of national economy.On the one hand,it injects powerful power into the national economy and is a cardiotonic for China to maintain the high growth rate of GDP;On the other hand,as a basic resource,coal is bound to have a great impact on the electric power,metallurgy,steel and other related industries.However,in recent years,the continuous low of oil prices,blind expansion of coal enterprises and the state's advocacy of harmonious and green development have brought great pressure to the survival of coal enterprises.At present,the prospect of the coal market is uncertain,the operating costs remain high,and the survival situation of coal enterprises is worrying.The effective measure to get rid of the dilemma is to innovate the management concept of the enterprise,improve the business performance of the enterprise,so as to firmly occupy the market initiative.Building a set of enterprise performance evaluation system considering the characteristics of coal industry and adapting to its development is the primary task to solve the above problems.T company is one of the key coal mining companies in Shanxi Province,and also faces some of the above problems.Taking T company as the research object,this paper does research on the performance evaluation of this company according to the relevant theories and results of enterprise performance evaluation.First of all,on the basis of fully understanding the industry characteristics of T company and the current situation and existing problems of T company's performance evaluation,this paper selects thirteen financial indicators from four dimensions of solvency,operational capability,profitability and growth ability,and seven non-financial indicators from three aspects of safety production,energy saving and environmental protection,and social responsibility,with these to design the enterprise performance evaluation index system of T company.Secondly,this paper selects CRITIC objective weighting method to determine the index weight,and uses gray correlation analysis method to construct enterprise performance evaluation model.Based on above,this paper analyzes the performance of T company from 2015 to 2019.Through analyzing the evaluation results,I find that there are some problems in the performance of T company: the overall performance level of T company for five consecutive years is on the rise,and the development momentum is good.However,specific to the indicators of each level,the short-term solvency shows a weakening trend,which needs to be further improved;the operating capacity is increasing year by year and should be maintained;except for a slight decline in 2018,the profitability is on the rise in other years,but there is still some room for improvement,which needs further efforts;the growth ability first rises and then decreases,it is becoming weaker in other years,which needs to be focused on;the ability of safety production shows a trend of first decreasing and then increasing,but the investment of special funds is still insufficient,to which should pay more attention;the energy saving and environmental protection also shows a trend of decreasing first and then increasing,which is very important for coal enterprises and needs to provide more powerful financial support;the social responsibility ability is very unstable and fluctuates frequently,which should be corrected by taking preventive measures..Lastly,aiming at the above problems,the paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the performance of T company: restrict short-term liabilities,broaden financing channels;strengthen the cost control,expand the profit space;develop high-quality coal,seek diversified business;pay attention to safety production management;increase investment in environmental protection;actively fulfill social responsibility.
