This research paper mainly adopts a three-stage mixing process, and a series of solution polymerized styrene butadiene rubber(SSBR)/maleic(diene)rubber(BR)composite compounds through different tread rubber formulation designs is prepared. In this process, the performance of the combined tread compound is tested with the help of carbon black filler disperser,Mooney viscometer, electronic tensile tester, abrasion tester, dynamic viscoelasticity tester and other performance characterization instruments. The performance of winter tire tread rubber ultimately depends on the type of rubber matrix.By selecting different styrene content soluble SSBR and BR to prepare tread rubber, combining the advantages of the two rubbers, using white carbon black and carbon black to supplement, the influence of different types of styrene-butadiene rubber on the dispersibility of white carbon black in the rubber compound, the vulcanization characteristics of vulcanizates, physical mechanics, dynamic mechanical properties, wet skid resistance, dry grip performance, and abrasion resistance is analyzed. We found that the rubber compound prepared by oil-extended SSBR has better filler dispersibility, and the Mooney viscosity of the vulcanized rubber is larger than that of the non-oil-extended SSBR,and with the decrease of the styrene content of SBR,the scorch time and normal curing time of the vulcanized rubber will gradually shorten. With the gradual decrease of the styrene content in the SSBR in the rubber compound, the tensile strength of the rubber compound and the tear strength of the vulcanized rubber also decrease, and the rebound value of the vulcanized rubber shows an overall increasing trend.High styrene content SSBR has good wet skid resistance, and low styrene content SSBR has good ice skid resistance. We also use two different low styrene SSBR SL533R and high styrene SSBR HP755R,which are compounded with butadiene rubber, using silica as filler and adding silane coupling agent.Different compounds are obtained by mixing. We compare the effects of HP755R and SL533R in different proportions on the dynamic viscoelastic properties, physical and mechanical properties and processing performance of the compounds, and explore the combined use of low styrene and high styrene soluble polystyrene butadiene rubber in snow tread formula. With the increase of the amount of low styrene SSBR SL553R,the dispersibility of the filler in the rubber compound becomes worse, the mooney viscosity and the maximum torque ML of the rubber compound decrease, and meanwhile, the scorch time and the normal vulcanization time t90 decrease. The tensile strength of the material decreases, but the hardness, tear strength and tensile stress change little;the rolling resistance of the rubber material decreases, and the rolling resistance of the rubber material prepared by HP55R:SL533R=16/60 is the smallest;the tan?at 0?decreases,and the rubber's wet-sliding resistance is reduced;the rubber's ice-slip resistance is increased, and the abrasion resistance becomes better.Reasonable selection of softening plasticizer system is an effective measure to improve the cold resistance of rubber products.Adding plasticizers can significantly reduce Tg and Tb.We selecte environmentally friendly aromatic oil, liquid butadiene rubber, vegetable oil,and liquid isoprene rubber as softening plasticizers, and investigate the use of different types of plasticizers to silica-reinforced SSBR/BR winter tread rubber performance. The order of the dispersibility of white carbon in the filler is as follows:the softening plasticizer in the rubber compound adopts>Liquid butane, vegetable oil1>Vegetable oil 2>Environmentally friendly aromatic oil;the rubber compound that uses liquid isoprene as a plasticizer has a higher Mooney viscosity and ML,followed by TDAE and liquid butine, and vegetable oil is the smallest;uses liquid butane As a plasticizer, the scorch time is the longest, and the vegetable oil softened rubber has the shortest scorch time. The compound rubber that uses liquid isoprene as the softening plasticizer has the shortest vulcanization time. When liquid rubber is used as a plasticizer, the comprehensive mechanical properties of the rubber compound are the most excellent, and the rubber compound's tensile strength, constant tensile stress, and resilience can be greatly improved.Liquid rubber and vegetable oil plasticization have a deteriorating effect on the wet slip resistance of the rubber compound, but can effectively improve the ice slip resistance of the rubber compound. The liquid butadiene rubber plasticizing compound has the best cold resistance.Silica tires are generally favored by the tire industry for their outstanding advantages such as low rolling resistance, high grip on wet roads and good traction and low wear. The test results found that the larger the specific surface area of the silica filler particles, the more silanol groups on the surface of the particles, the worse the dispersibility during the processing of the reinforcing compound, the stronger the interaction force with the elastomer. The abrasiveness becomes better;the greater the tensile strength, elongation at break, and the tensile stress of the reinforced rubber,it indicates that the silica with large specific surface area can strengthen the rubber and other mechanical properties; The wet skid resistance of the silica 1165MP reinforced rubber is the best, and the silica EZ90 reinforced rubber has the worst wet skid resistance and the lowest rolling resistance. As the specific surface area of the white carbon black particles added to the rubber decreases, the wet skid resistance and dry grip performance of the reinforced rubber will gradually become worse, and the ice skid resistance will develop better.
