With the development of our society,consumers' requirements for their own clothing are constantly increasing,which is mainly manifested in three aspects: First,the change of consumers' views on costume aesthetics;Second,people like to pursue the harmonious relationship between clothing and human body,that is,the comfort and fit of clothing;Third,the change in clothing design effect,quality requirements and functional design.However,Fit is one of the basic requests of fashion design.In order to meet the requirement,it is necessary to conduct a subdivision study on the body shape of consumers.At the present,the difference of girth between chest and waist are the basis of body type division in China,but this method cannot reflect the difference in the shape of human curves.It has become a research hotspot in the field of clothing rapid customization to conduct an in-depth research on Morphological characteristics of human body to better characterize the human body,so as to produce more fit clothing.This study chose 205 female college students,then the corresponding manual data,front and side photos of human body,as well as point cloud data were obtained by manual measurement,photographic measurement and three-dimensional measurement,and the characteristics of the waist-abdomen-hip of young women were analyzed.Based on the point cloud data,the classification rules of waist-abdomen-hip,the girth fitting rules and the generation rules of feature section were established.Finally,it realized the automatic identification of body shape based only on human photos,and established individualized waist-abdomen-hip three-dimensional models.Its research contents and main conclusions were as follows:(1)Body shape classification of human waist-abdomen-hip: By analyzing the waist-abdomen-hip position of human body,starting from two aspects of shape and height,cluster analysis was carried out according to 17 shape parameters and 6 height parameters measured by point cloud data.Finally,they were divided into three types in shape(concave-convex body,abdominal convex body,thick-flat body)and two types in height(long crotch body,short crotch body).(2)Body shape discrimination based on human body photos: Recognize the required feature points automatically based on the front and side photos of the human body,such as waist feature points,abdomen feature points,so as to extract the morphological parameters of the body's waist-abdomen-hip.The error of the extracted parameters was within 6 %.And then use the width and thickness dimensions of characteristic position to perform girth fitting,and the average error of girth fitting does not exceed ±1 cm.According to the established morphology and height classification rules,the body type was automatically determined.The accuracy of body type recognition was 90 %(3)3D modeling of waist-abdomen-hip: The cross-section is processed by the method of mirror symmetry in reverse order.Taking the right half as the standard,the centroid of the cross-section curve was set as the new center point,and a feature point was extracted every 15 degrees on the curve.At the same time,the extraction rules of curvature radius of the feature point on the curve were established to fit the cross-section curve.The error between the fitting curve and the real curve of human body in width,thickness and circumference were less than 5%,which can reflect the real human body shape.Furthermore,the corresponding waist-abdomen-hip model was generated.Therefore,this study was based on the front and side photos of human body,combined with2 D size extraction technology,cross section curve building rules and 3D human body modeling technology to discuss the model construction method of waist-abdomen-hip.It can provide theoretical basis and technical support for personalized clothing.It is also possible to realize personalized clothing online design and virtual fitting.
