With the development of science and technology,the existing single polymer materials can not meet the needs.Polymer blending is an important method to obtain materials with high-performance,which has not only the low cost,but also the advantages of each component.However,most polymers are thermodynamically incompatible,so the addition of a compatibilizer becomes the key to improving the immiscible polymer blend system.The main purpose of this paper is to prepare a new type of macromolecular grafted graphene oxide composite compatibilizer to improve the compatibility of polyamide 6(PA6)/polypropylene and obtain high-performance blend materials.Graphene oxide (GO) was first reacted with polyethyleneimine(PEI)and obtained the graphene oxide grafted by a polar oligomer polyethyleneimine(GO-g-PEI);then GO-g-PEI was further reacted with polypropylene grafted by maleic anhydride(MAPP)and obtained the composite compatibilizer PP-PEI-g-GO.FTIR and XRD showed that PEI and PP were successfully grafted onto the surface of GO.The melt-blending method was used to apply the prepared compatibilizer PP-PEI-g-GO to the PA6 / PP blending system.SEM test showed that the compatibility of PA6 / PP blending system was obviously improved by PP-PEI-gGO.The effect of different compatibilizers on the performance of the blend system PA6 / PP/ PP-PEI-g-GO was investigated by adjusting the composition ratios of GO,PEI and MAPP.The mechanical properties tests results showed that the mechanicl properties of the composites were greatly improved.When the mass ratio GO: PEI: MAPP = 1: 1: 2,the overall performance of the composites is better.On this basis,the effects of different content of compatibilizers on the properties of the PA6 / PP / PP-PEI-g-GO were investigated by changing the amount of PP-PEI-g-GO.When PP-PEI-g-GO is 0.2 wt%,the comprehensive properties of the composites are optimal.In summary,when the composition of the compatibilizer PP-PEI-g-GO is GO: PEI:MAPP = 1: 1: 2 and the addition amount is 0.2 wt%,the compatibility of the blending system is better.The tensile strength,flexural strength,and compressive strength are 79.0 MPa,93.1MPa,and 110.9 MPa,respectively,which are 19.9%,6.5%,and 23.0% higher than PA6 / PP/ MAPP,respectively;the tensile modulus,flexural modulus and compressive modulus are3109.1MPa,3320.4MPa and 2680.2MPa,which are 15.1%,15.7% and 16.3% higher than PA6/PP/MAPP,respectively.
